Senior Director of Consulting and Analytics for North America Merchant Segment

Position Summary:
The Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) team is seeking an experienced leader to enhance our Consulting and Analytics division. This role focuses on developing and executing strategies, managing business operations, and overseeing financial performance for Visa's North America Merchant Everyday Spend segment, which encompasses clients in Bill Pay, Financial Services, Dining/Restaurants, and Digital Platform Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage proactively with Visa leadership in strategic planning discussions, managing a robust pipeline of innovation and sales opportunities within the North America Everyday Spend sector.
- Oversee the scoping, sales, and delivery of client engagements, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Directors, Managers, and Analysts to achieve business objectives.
- Create frameworks and methodologies that effectively address significant industry challenges and client needs.
- Design and implement solutions and actionable insights that drive growth and monetization of assets for clients and Visa.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Visa to bring comprehensive advisory services and product strategies to fruition.
- Work alongside internal Data Science teams to explore innovative possibilities for clients and advance our data strategy.
- Ensure quality assurance in the development of client insights and recommendations to enhance performance and strategic direction.
Candidate Profile:
Applicants should be self-driven, accountable, and detail-oriented, capable of delivering strategic insights and high-impact solutions. Candidates must possess the ability to cultivate strong, lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a hybrid model, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work. Employees are expected to be present in the office 2-3 days a week based on business requirements.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 5 years with a PhD.
- Preferred: 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years with an Advanced Degree, or 9+ years with a PhD.
- Extensive experience in Management Consulting, Analytics, Merchant Industries, Advisory Sales, and Payments.
- Deep knowledge of Merchant Bill Pay, Financial Services, Dining/Restaurants, and Digital Platform Services.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proven track record in project business development, sales, and delivery.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior executives.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Technologically savvy with an understanding of digital trends.
