Position Summary:
The Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) team is in search of an experienced leader to enhance our Consulting and Analytics division, focusing on the strategy, business development, team management, and financial performance for Visa's North America Merchant Everyday Spend sector. This sector encompasses Visa's Bill Payment and Financial Services, Dining/Restaurants, and Digital Platform Services clientele. The ideal candidate will be tasked with the sales, delivery, and execution of high-value consulting and analytics initiatives with this diverse and expanding client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage proactively with Visa leadership in ongoing strategy and planning dialogues, fostering and managing a substantial business pipeline of innovation and sales opportunities with North America Everyday Spend clients.
  • Oversee the scoping, selling, and execution of client engagements alongside their respective teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Directly manage, lead, recruit, and develop a team of Directors, Managers, and Analysts.
  • Create frameworks, methodologies, and capabilities that effectively address significant industry and client challenges and opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver solutions/tools and actionable insights that will assist clients and VCA in growing our businesses, monetizing assets, and achieving core business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Visa's cross-functional partners (e.g., Account Executives, Marketing, Risk, Product) and global teams to implement our unified Visa Advisory Services and Product Strategies.
  • Work closely with internal Data Science Teams to explore and deliver innovative solutions for our clients while advancing our overall data and capabilities strategy.
  • Ensure quality assurance and support the development of client insights, analyses, and recommendations to enhance client performance, stimulate growth, and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across various product categories and segments.

Candidate Profile:
Applicants for this role should be self-driven, highly accountable, and motivated. They should possess a keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics, and impactful solutions to clients to foster growth and performance. Candidates must be adept at cultivating enduring, strategic relationships with both internal and external clients and across the Visa organization.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a hybrid format, allowing employees to alternate between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office a set number of days each week, as determined by leadership and business needs.

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
12 or more years of professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:
15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), or a PhD with 9+ years of experience. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience across Management Consulting, Analytics, Merchant Industries, Advisory Sales, and Payments. Extensive knowledge of Merchant Bill Payment and Financial Services, Dining/Restaurants, and Platform Services (e.g., Digital, Streaming, etc.) is essential, along with the ability to analyze multiple data sets, derive insights, and apply recommendations effectively.

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required, along with demonstrated project business development, sales, and delivery capabilities. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities concurrently. A comprehensive understanding of the payments landscape, including products and services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives, and card acquiring experiences is crucial. Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills are necessary for engaging with senior executive-level clients. A collaborative mindset and the ability to travel up to 25% are also required.

Additional Information:
This position may require travel 5-10% of the time and will be performed in an office setting, necessitating the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and operate standard office equipment.
