Position Overview:
The Senior Legal Recruiter will play a pivotal role in the Talent Acquisition team, focusing on the recruitment and onboarding of fee earners across various US offices.
This position emphasizes the recruitment of associates and summer associates, while also providing support for lateral partner recruitment and business services recruitment as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all facets of the firm's summer associate, entry-level, and lateral associate recruitment processes.
- Coordinate and oversee the summer associate program, including orientation and onboarding, planning social events, and facilitating evaluations.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition colleagues to update job descriptions and recruitment materials, ensuring uniform messaging across offices.
- Engage with law schools to foster relationships with career services and student organizations for campus outreach.
- Act as a liaison with recruiting agencies and candidates regarding open positions.
- Assist in managing recruitment-related data and tracking hiring costs.
- Support strategic initiatives of the Recruitment Committee and DEI Committee related to recruitment programs.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of four years of recruiting experience within a law firm is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent project management skills, including prioritization and multitasking.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and a growth mindset.
