About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Director to lead our national sales expansion efforts for Ascendis Pharma. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and executing a sales strategy that drives business growth and achieves sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and sales goals.
  • Lead Sales Team: Hire, lead, coach, and motivate a high-performance sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis and provide insights to inform sales strategy and drive business decisions.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to drive sales growth and business expansion.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance metrics to measure sales performance and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of life sciences sales and commercial experience, with a minimum of 3 years of direct people leadership experience in rare disease/specialty biopharma.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proven track record of success in sales leadership.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive annual base salary ranging from $225,000 to $230,000, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and innovative company.
