About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Sales Director to join our team at Aon. As a key member of our Health Solutions practice, you will be responsible for leading national sales activities and developing and implementing annual operating plans to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Develop and implement annual operating plans, consistent with objectives set by the Health Solutions Practice, to drive sales growth and achieve sales goals.
  • Lead National Sales Activities: Lead national sales activities for Health and Benefits for the Health Solutions practice, including channel management, conflict resolution, and coordination of marketing events and sales follow-up action plans.
  • Oversee Performance Management: Oversee performance management of H&B producers in the markets, in conjunction with Regional Sales Directors, Regional Managing Directors, and Local Practice Leaders.
  • Channel Management and Conflict Resolution: Develop and execute channel management strategies, including coaching and conflict resolution, to drive sales growth and improve channel performance.
  • Marketing and Sales Coordination: Coordinate and execute marketing events and sales follow-up action plans, in close collaboration with Marketing personnel, to drive sales growth and improve channel performance.
  • Market Recognition Programs: Develop and execute Market Recognition Programs to recognize and reward top-performing channels and producers.
  • Sales Skills Development: Develop and deliver sales skills building programs to enhance the sales abilities of channel members.
  • Sales Operations: Administer H&B Sales Operations, including sales goal setting and allocation, pipeline analysis and reporting, and sales credit allocations.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the point person for resourcing initial prospect meetings and closing details, and for Unsolicited Proposals.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage pipeline across all distribution channels to drive sales growth and improve channel performance.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Healthcare Sales Experience: Ten plus years of healthcare sales experience, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and improving channel performance.
  • Consulting Experience Preferred: Consulting experience preferred, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and sales strategies.
  • Superior Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive sales growth.
  • Excellent Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
