About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Sales Director to join our team at Aon. As a key member of our Health Solutions practice, you will be responsible for leading national sales activities and developing and implementing annual operating plans to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Develop and implement annual operating plans, consistent with objectives set by the Health Solutions Practice, to drive sales growth and achieve sales goals.
  • Lead National Sales Activities: Lead national sales activities for Health and Benefits for the Health Solutions practice, including channel management, conflict resolution, and coordination of marketing events and sales follow-up action plans.
  • Oversee Performance Management: Oversee performance management of H&B producers in the markets, in conjunction with Regional Sales Directors, Regional Managing Directors, and Local Practice Leaders.
  • Channel Management: Develop and execute channel management strategies to drive sales growth through Account Executives, Producers, Specialty Practice Leaders, and Third-party originators.
  • Sales Operations: Administer H&B Sales Operations, including sales goal setting and allocation, pipeline analysis and reporting, and sales credit allocations.
  • Business Development: Develop and deliver sales skills building programs to enhance the sales abilities of channel members and leverage distribution channels for new logos.
  • Proposal Process: Utilize the Marshall Proposal Process to drive sales growth and assist/coach on presentations and finalist meetings.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage pipeline across all distribution channels and work on significant and unique issues requiring proficiency in a complex area.
Requirements
  • Experience: Ten plus years of healthcare sales experience, with consulting experience preferred.
  • Skills: Superior communication and presentation skills, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
