About the Role

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Regional Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts in the East Coast Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales and occupancy growth in our managed communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Occupancy Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue growth goals in assigned communities.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, evaluate, and coach Community Relations Directors (CRDs) to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate forecasting to executive leadership and report daily changes and trends to inform business decisions.
  • Training and Development: Coach and mentor Claiborne leaders on relationship-based selling strategies, including inquiry follow-up, sales advancement, and objection handling.
  • Strategy and Planning: Outline and facilitate strategy meetings with Regional Operations and Community leadership to discuss sales trends and projections.
  • Community Standards: Ensure curb appeal, community appearance, and sales standards are met through regular site visits and follow-up.
  • Market Analysis: Identify trends, obstacles, and solutions in the marketplace and provide proactive recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Performance Management: Ensure CRDs maintain accurate data in the CRM tool and provide executive directors with insight and direction for performance management and evaluations.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular competitive market analysis and develop quarterly sales and marketing plans.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of three to five years of multi-site Senior Living sales experience with a record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales performance goals.
  • Skills: Successful experience in marketing, selling, and closing sales of assisted living, housing community-based care, and healthcare services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess a driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle. Ability to speak intelligently about our services and relate to the public, residents, families, staff, and other professionals effectively.
