About the Role

Findlay Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Post Falls is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. As a sales consultant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Assist Customers: Provide a warm welcome to all customers, offering assistance or direction as needed.
  • Determine Customer Needs: Conduct vehicle walk-arounds, take customers on test-drives, and set up for successful sales.
  • Explain Product Features: Clearly explain product performance, optional equipment, and warranty information to customers.
  • Close Deals: Work with sales managers to complete paperwork and close deals in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Deliver Vehicles: Ensure customers understand vehicle features, warranty, and paperwork, and introduce them to our service department.
  • Follow-up and Customer Satisfaction: Use our follow-up system to encourage repeat purchases and referrals, and follow up on post-delivery items.
  • Stay Current on Products: Complete required training and stay up-to-date on new products, accessories, and features.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Team Player: Focus on providing ethical and exemplary customer service as a team player.
  • Coachability and Development: Be willing to continually develop your customer service skills and be coachable.
  • Computer Skills: Be skilled in computers, basic software, and internet, and able to learn database management.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Criminal Background Check and Drug Test: Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
