The Document Management Analyst I is tasked with delivering scanning support services and meticulously reviewing each incoming document package submitted for processing to determine and assign the correct RIDS Code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and confirm the return of all physical documents provided to the contractor after processing has been finalized (including image processing, text processing, indexing, and distribution, if applicable).
  • Receive and manage all documents submitted electronically in line with the NRC Electronic Information Exchange initiative, adhering to the DPC SOP manual.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and updates on DPC scanning hardware and software applications.
  • Collaborate with NRC network infrastructure technical staff to support DPC scanning software applications.
  • Provide various levels of scanning services:
    • For basic scanning, digitize documents and send the scanned image (or its location in ADAMS) to the requester.
    • Normal scanning is executed on paper documents received for standard processing.
    • For expedited scanning, digitize documents and send the scanned image (or its location in ADAMS) to the requester within 4 hours of receipt.
    • For complex scanning services, digitize sections of documents and packages that include electronic portions of the document.
  • Create up to 5,000 scanned images from paper documents received from the DCD or NRC staff each workday.
  • Process e-RIDS in accordance with contract stipulations.
  • Code and file documents in a comprehensive alphabetical filing system.
  • Assist in publishing publicly accessible documents/packages to the agency's public website.
  • Facilitate the publication of a minimum of 380 documents/packages to the agency's website daily, in compliance with the DPC SOP manual.
  • Open and operate mail through metering machines, calculating and posting charges to departmental accounts.
  • Support additional projects involving scanning, copying, and/or printing various types of documents.
  • Perform other clerical tasks as assigned.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Minimum one (1) year of experience in a production control operation, supporting document production organization, or a similar role.
  • Preferred: Possess an Active Secret Clearance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Preferred: US Military/Federal Government experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Acrobat.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
