Records Management Specialist

Position Overview:
The Document Control Coordinator plays a vital role in managing both physical and digital documentation. This position involves meticulous tracking, scanning, quality assurance, printing, filing, and distribution of transcripts and exhibits. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with various departments while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, assess, and monitor all electronic and physical documentation
- Ensure timely return of original documents to clients
- Scan, perform OCR, and verify the quality of physical documents in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct quality checks, perform OCR, and archive electronic documents
- Systematically file and oversee all documents within digital case management systems
- Manage the retention of physical documents
- Prepare, bind, and dispatch transcripts as required
- Handle large-scale requests for hard copy transcripts and exhibits
- Prioritize and process exhibit requests following departmental standards
- Maintain regular communication with relevant teams regarding document status
- Respond promptly to inquiries in the team inbox
- Document all procedural steps taken for each transcript or exhibit in the company database
- Adhere to specific client or job-related instructions
- Ensure the workspace is organized, clean, and adequately supplied
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive documents
- Manage incoming correspondence and packages, distributing them as necessary
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Work Environment:
This position is based in an office setting.
Work Schedule:
Standard working hours are from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $20 to $21.
