STGi is actively seeking skilled professionals for a full-time role as a Records Administration Specialist within the Federal Occupational Health (FOH) sector.

The Records Administration Specialist will oversee and execute the organization's records management strategy, ensuring adherence to federal healthcare standards and regulatory obligations. This position emphasizes the management of diverse record types, particularly focusing on medical documentation in a federal healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update the FOH General Records Schedule file plan
  • Act as the agency's Subject Matter Expert regarding record maintenance and disposition
  • Handle FOH FOIA requests, subpoenas, and audits
  • Manage the records management system to fulfill regulatory standards
  • Assist in the transfer of records to and from NARA and NPRC
  • Formulate organizational policies and procedures for effective records management
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare quality standards and regulations
  • Plan and oversee the development of FOH's medical records initiative
  • Collaborate with staff on records management issues
  • Provide guidance on electronic recordkeeping and record utilization
  • Supervise personnel engaged in records management tasks

Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in health information management, along with RHIT or RHIA certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in federal records management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word is essential.
