Position Overview
We are in search of a meticulous and experienced professional to take on the role of Internal Audit Lead. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for assessing and enhancing our internal control frameworks, risk management strategies, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit projects, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Conduct risk assessments across various business units to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop detailed audit programs aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Engage in fieldwork by conducting interviews, gathering documentation, and performing data analysis.
- Identify areas of control weaknesses or inefficiencies that may pose risks or lead to non-compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive workpapers that clearly document audit findings.
- Collaborate with management to formulate action plans addressing identified issues.
- Ensure timely and high-quality draft audit reports are produced.
- Monitor the implementation of management's action plans to resolve identified concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Cencora's management and staff.
- Provide ongoing feedback to team members regarding performance and task completion.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in internal auditing.
- Assist in the creation of policies, procedures, and training materials related to internal audit functions.
- Be open to travel as required.

Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is mandatory.
- A minimum of five years of relevant audit experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or biotech sectors.
- An active professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA, CMA) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and data analytics tools is advantageous.
