Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
As the Internal Audit Lead, you will be instrumental in assessing and enhancing our internal control frameworks, risk management strategies, and adherence to relevant regulations and policies. Your primary duties will include:

  • Planning, executing, and overseeing audit engagements in line with established standards.
  • Conducting comprehensive risk assessments across various business units.
  • Creating detailed audit programs to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Performing data analysis, interviews, and documentation during audit processes.
  • Identifying control weaknesses and operational inefficiencies that may pose risks.
  • Preparing well-structured workpapers that document audit findings clearly.
  • Collaborating with management to formulate action plans for addressing identified deficiencies.
  • Ensuring timely and high-quality draft audit reports.
  • Monitoring the implementation of management action plans to resolve issues promptly.
  • Building strong relationships with Cencora's management and staff.
  • Staying informed on industry trends and best practices in internal auditing.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant audit experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or biotech sectors.
  • An active professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA, CMA) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
