Position Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced professional to take on the role of Lead Internal Auditor. In this capacity, you will be essential in assessing and enhancing our internal control frameworks, risk management strategies, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit projects, ensuring adherence to established auditing standards and methodologies.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments across various business units to evaluate control effectiveness.
- Develop detailed audit plans aimed at assessing the robustness of internal controls.
- Engage in interviews, collect necessary documentation, and perform data analysis during audit activities.
- Identify control weaknesses or inefficiencies that could lead to risks or regulatory non-compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive and well-structured workpapers that document audit findings.
- Collaborate with management to formulate action plans addressing identified deficiencies.
- Ensure timely and high-quality draft audit reports are produced.
- Monitor the implementation of management action plans to resolve identified issues.
- Foster strong relationships with Cencora's management and staff within your areas of responsibility.
- Provide ongoing feedback to team members regarding work completion and performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in internal auditing.
- Assist in creating policies, procedures, and training materials related to internal audit functions.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- A minimum of five years of relevant audit experience, either in internal audit or public accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or biotech sectors.
- Possession of a professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA, CMA) is preferred.
- Demonstrated flexibility in prioritizing tasks and reallocating work among team members as necessary.
- Strong understanding of risks, processes, and controls in financial, operational, and compliance domains.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Proficient in project management, time management, and prioritization.
- Familiarity with advanced audit methodologies and data analytics tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
