Empowering Data-Driven Healthcare

At Komodo Health, our vision is to alleviate the global impact of diseases. We believe that the intelligent utilization of data is crucial to achieving this vision. Our flagship product, the Healthcare Map, represents the most extensive and precise overview of the U.S. healthcare landscape, integrating de-identified, real-world patient information with cutting-edge algorithms and years of clinical expertise. This foundational tool enables us to provide a robust suite of software solutions, addressing the most intricate challenges in healthcare for our partners. We assist clients in uncovering vital insights to monitor patient behaviors and treatment trends, identify care gaps, meet unaddressed patient needs, and ultimately lessen the global disease burden.

As we strive toward these objectives, we remain committed to our core values: excellence, continuous improvement, delivering exceptional results, and enjoying the journey. By joining Komodo, you will become part of a dynamic team of driven individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by a common goal to reduce the burden of disease while enjoying the process.

You will be an integral member of the Sentinel team, responsible for building, managing, and continuously enhancing our infrastructure services for over 150 client organizations. The team achieves its objectives by implementing optimal infrastructure practices and utilizing complete automation to scale our offerings and minimize expenses.

Collaborating with enthusiastic colleagues nationwide, you will contribute to our mission: to alleviate the burden of disease.

In your first year at Komodo Health, you will have...

  • Designed and managed cloud infrastructure (AWS) tailored to client specifications
  • Addressed development and deployment challenges to ensure Sentinel's infrastructure is reliable, maintainable, and cost-efficient
  • Engaged in the development, execution, and support of new feature launches alongside solution architects and customer success teams
  • Enhanced existing and new monitoring and alerting systems for Sentinel infrastructure
  • Strengthened infrastructure security across various domains including network, storage, and user access
  • Responded to and resolved critical customer-reported issues promptly
  • Participated in an on-call rotation

What You Bring to Komodo:

  • Hands-on experience in constructing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitActions or Jenkins
  • Practical knowledge of networking concepts, including subnets and CIDR, relevant to application deployment and accessibility
  • Experience with scripting languages (bash and/or PowerShell)
  • Understanding of operating system fundamentals (Linux and/or Windows)
  • Knowledge of major cloud providers and big data tools/frameworks such as Spark, Airflow, and/or Snowflake

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to proactively initiate and drive projects

Additionally:

  • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for our mission and technology
  • Ownership: A commitment to taking responsibility for your work, being accountable, and driving projects to completion. We encourage you to treat your role as if you were a co-founder and to share any ideas that can benefit Komodo.
