Job Summary

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating processes, and managing infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Build CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline code deployments, system integrations, and infrastructure management.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee and maintain cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring efficient resource utilization and cost optimization.
  • Monitor System Performance: Troubleshoot issues, optimize system reliability, and scalability, ensuring high-quality application performance.
  • Automate Repetitive Tasks: Develop and implement automation scripts to increase efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and improve overall productivity.
  • Implement Configuration Management: Utilize tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to manage and maintain configuration settings, ensuring consistency and reliability across environments.
  • Ensure Security Best Practices: Implement and maintain security protocols, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management, to ensure the integrity of applications and data.
  • Develop and Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices, ensuring knowledge sharing and onboarding efficiency.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously update skills and knowledge with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and industry trends, ensuring the team's expertise and competitiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Equivalent experience in a related field or equivalent experience in a DevOps or related role.
  • 3+ Years of Experience in DevOps or Related Role: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and managing infrastructure as code.
  • Strong Knowledge of CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including relevant services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Experience: Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, ensuring efficient infrastructure management and optimization.
  • Strong Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, ensuring efficient automation and process management.
  • Containerization and Orchestration Experience: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, ensuring efficient application deployment and management.
  • Version Control System Experience: Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, ensuring efficient code management and collaboration.
  • Strong Understanding of Networking and Security: Knowledge of networking and security practices, ensuring the integrity of applications and data.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • DevOps-Related Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certifications are a plus, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
