Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design and Deployment: Design and deploy scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Cloud Service Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudFormation.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage IaC using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Cloud Performance and Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate and automate cloud services.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
  • Cloud Security: Ensure cloud security best practices are followed, including IAM policies, security groups, and encryption standards.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes within the cloud environment.
  • Cloud Architecture and Documentation: Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and document cloud architecture configurations and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of AWS services and architecture, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC, proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, experience with IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible, familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Docker, strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, DNS, and load balancing, knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Certifications: AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, are a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
