Contract Duration: 17+ Months

Note: Candidates must be local to Chicago, IL.

This initiative is part of a strategic project aimed at establishing a unified collateral processing framework across the organization. Currently, multiple systems are in place for collateral processing, including our Active Collateral Management (ACM) platform and HFS Omnium Collateral systems, which will both leverage the new infrastructure.

Another critical objective is transitioning from on-premises hosting to a cloud-based environment. Additionally, we have a regulatory mandate to migrate the ACM collateral platform, which presently utilizes a third-party solution that needs to be phased out. In its place, we will be integrating a new third-party SaaS solution from Cloud Margin, ensuring seamless functionality with existing tools in an efficient and automated manner.

The Northern Collateral Services (NCS) platform represents a multi-year development effort. It will be constructed using Agile methodologies, with client migrations occurring as their specific requirements are fulfilled. Ultimately, the project will culminate in a fully Azure-based, cloud-native platform. The NCS platform is a comprehensive new build that will interface with Cloud Margin, allowing for integration with the ACM and HFS platforms through an adapter-based framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the NCS platform development team.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Azure, with a solid understanding of various IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, as well as networking.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions.
  • Proficient in Kubernetes administration.
  • Experience with Helm charts.
  • Strong cloud computing skills.
  • Proficiency in either Python or JavaScript.

Experience Level: Senior Level 3 (8+ years)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working within Agile development teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
