Job Responsibilities:
The Observability Engineer will adopt a comprehensive approach to problem-solving, focusing on:
- Automating data collection from prevalent data sources.
- Efficiently storing data within Application Performance Management and Monitoring tools.
- Presenting this information to users based on established Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
- Implementing actionable insights derived from the data.
Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Hands-on experience with Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, Moogsoft, and Sumo Logic.
- Expertise in Application Performance Management, Real User Monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and log analysis tools like Dynatrace, Nagios, Sensu, and Splunk.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and Continuous Delivery.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
Additional Skills:
Candidates should also demonstrate:
- Proficiency in designing and developing new features for infrastructure and service observability.
- Adeptness in creating solutions that fulfill SLO/SLI requirements, including the visualization of monitoring dashboards.
- Capability to write code within the monitoring solution.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies and tools for configuration management, deployment, monitoring, and operations.
