Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure, leveraging DevOps methodologies to enable developers to quickly deliver secure, high-quality software to production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports and troubleshoots scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, and restore of different environments.
  • Designs and builds tools and frameworks to support deploying and managing our platforms.
  • Implements and maintains data security and privacy policies to ensure data protection.
  • Suggests architecture improvements, process improvements, and automation.
  • Evaluates new technology options and vendor products.
  • Ensures critical system security through best-in-class cloud security solutions.
  • Troubleshoots and solves system problems across platforms and application domains.
  • Creates, maintains, and optimizes automated build and deployment pipelines.
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and DevOps practices, making recommendations for improvements to our existing systems.
  • Collaborates with architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure cloud deliverables align with the overall IT strategy and roadmap.
  • Provides guidance and support to development teams on DevOps-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering and/or Cloud engineering.
  • Willingness to work occasional night or weekend shifts and participate in off-hours on-call schedule.
  • Expert knowledge of deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Significant experience designing and delivering infrastructure services.
  • Expert skills with PowerShell scripting and reading/analyzing web technologies.
  • Experience with an OOP language such as Java or C#.
  • Source control (GitHub) and modern feature branching strategies.
  • CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Octopus, Nexus, GitHub, BuddyCI, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure, including virtual networking, non-consumption PAAS, and IAAS.
