About the Role

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our Laboratory Outreach team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing revenue from new accounts, increasing laboratory service outreach revenue, testing volume, and patient visits in assigned geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Growth: Develop sales strategy and build client relationships to increase revenue from new accounts.
  • Client Services: Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients, including training on laboratory specimen collection, transfer, and billing procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Demonstrate process of self-discovery, communicate clearly, and receive feedback well.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Science.
  • 5 years' experience in a clinical and/or anatomic pathology laboratory service direct sales position.
  • Driver's License - CA Department of Motor Vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Solution Selling Process program or equivalent.
  • Outreach sales experience.
  • Experience in a clinical and/or anatomic pathology laboratory.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology marketing, the sales process, and strong customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of San Diego payor and medical laboratory outreach marketplace, including customers, competition, and market trends.
  • Ability to operate independently in a complex organization, sell and service medical laboratory service lines, and effectively communicate both written and verbally.
Essential Functions
  • Sales Growth: Responsible for growing revenue from new accounts, including increasing laboratory service outreach revenue, testing volume, and patient visits in assigned geographic areas.
  • Client Services: Develop new clinical and anatomic business sales, including growth in testing volume and patient visits in assigned geographic area.
  • Quality Assurance: Demonstrate process of self-discovery, communicate clearly, and receive feedback well.
