This person should be a self-motivated and positive professional. This role will collaborate, strategize, and execute campaigns on retention, account growth, and customer loyalty. The Membership Services, Account Executive will work under the guidance of the Ticket Operation & Services Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Provide first-class customer service to current and new Season Ticket Members.
  • This position will assist the Ticket Sales team with selling additional tickets to current Season Ticket Members and Group Sales, which includes prospecting, appointment setting, sales presentations, and closing sales.
  • Meet and/or exceed departmental and personal season ticket renewal and revenue goals.
  • Provide leadership for season ticket retention, new ticket sales, and service initiatives.
  • Support the sales team through lead generation, research, attending networking, and staffing the ticket sales table at events.
  • Assist in organizing and executing annual Season Ticket Member events.
  • Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, events, and game days.
  • The candidate will be accountable for certain activity levels (calls/appointments/emails) and goals.
  • The candidate will possess an optimistic team-first attitude, and a competitive desire to be the best.
  • Responsible for sales table and assisting Members during San Diego Seals home games.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of prior sales experience, sports ticket sales preferred.
  • Prior experience with ticketing systems (AXS preferred) and CRM (HubSpot preferred) is highly desired.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with C-level clients.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidate should possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in professional sports.

Compensation is hourly/non-exempt - $20.00 per hour + commission
