Job Description

Job Summary:

The Account Executive I-II is responsible for driving business growth and client satisfaction for MedImpact's complex accounts and strategic key accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of business to achieve fiscal revenue targets and develop strategic plans to address client lifecycle needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at the executive level and with critical decision-makers.
  • Provide proactive and strategic support to achieve financial goals, including oversight of client deliverables, renewals, and upsell activity.
  • Lead client business planning meetings, financial performance reviews, leadership summits, and internal strategy planning discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders to solve problems, plan, and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Monitor client service continuum to identify and address service delivery issues and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with client consultants and support sales and prospect presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Three to ten years of related experience in a healthcare or PBM environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with complex, large key accounts and PBM, HMO, or related healthcare management industries.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
  • Registered Pharmacist in the State of California or equivalent state preferred.

Travel: This position may require domestic travel up to 35% of the time, with little or no advance notice and depending on client contractual requirements.
