Position Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable Regulatory Examination Coordinator with a solid background in federally regulated financial institutions. In this role, you will provide both organizational and substantive support to our Regulatory Team, develop new systems and procedures, and collaborate with various stakeholders within Block. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a growing legal team and engage with compelling regulatory challenges.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee an examination program that meets our legal and regulatory obligations while minimizing impact on business operations.
  • Coordinate federal regulatory examinations, ensuring collaboration with team members for successful outcomes.
  • Assist in the preparation of all examination requests and inquiries, maintaining clear communication with partners.
  • Ensure clarity of ownership and understanding among partners and teams.
  • Manage and escalate issues to the Team Lead and Regulatory Examination Project Manager, working together to find solutions.
  • Support planning and coordination for any remediation projects.
  • Schedule meetings with relevant partners and teams as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating responsiveness to regulatory requests.
Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with federal regulatory examinations (e.g., FDIC, FRB, OCC, CFPB) and bank partnership lending models.
  • Familiarity with lending regulations, banking regulations, and best practices in the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing operational efficiencies.
  • Strong organizational, process, and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate legal and regulatory obligations clearly across various disciplines and levels.
