Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Examination Manager with a robust background in federally regulated financial institutions. This role is crucial in providing both organizational and substantive support to our Regulatory Team. You will be instrumental in establishing new systems and procedures while collaborating with diverse teams across Block. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal team, tackling exciting challenges as we broaden our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the examination program to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations while minimizing the impact on business operations.
- Manage federal regulatory examinations, collaborating with team members to achieve favorable examination outcomes.
- Coordinate the preparation of all examination requests and inquiries, ensuring accurate data collection from various teams.
- Support project planning and tracking for any necessary remediation efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, responding efficiently to regulatory inquiries.
- Monitor, interpret, and implement legal and regulatory requirements effectively.
- Ensure accurate data management within the GRC and oversee workflow processes to meet deadlines.
- Maintain documentation standards within the GRC, ensuring proper organization and timely delivery to regulators.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with federal regulatory examinations (e.g., FDIC, FRB, OCC, CFPB) and bank partnership lending models.
- Strong understanding of lending and banking regulations, along with industry best practices.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing operational efficiencies.
- Familiarity with analyzing lending-related data and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Skilled in interpreting and clarifying legal and regulatory obligations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities when dealing with regulatory matters.
- Experience with GRC and issue management systems.
