Job Summary

As a Territory Sales Manager at Global Payments, you will be responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses. This role involves pricing, customer segmentation, customer presentations, account sign-up and activation, and account management. You will primarily work in the field, visiting area businesses, and may also conduct business over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients for the company, identifying revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Ensure suspect identification, planning, account qualification, and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
  • Respond to customer requests for information and give online presentations.
  • Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients to further develop the client relationship.
  • Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Compensation

  • Compensation for this role is based on performance, and you'll enjoy aggressive weekly commissions, residuals, and portfolio ownership as you meet and exceed your targets.
  • It's W2 Medical, Dental, Life, & Disability benefits to keep you healthy and happy.
  • We're not messing around with compensation. A first-year professional may expect an average of $90,000 - $105,000+ if you are in the top 25% in the form of uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity.
