Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and expand the company's existing customer base across all product lines to achieve growth objectives.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  3. Investigate and troubleshoot quality and customer service issues and identify solutions.
  4. Maintain a robust prospect pipeline, prepare proposals, submit quotes, author call reports, sales presentations, and sample/demonstrate products.
  5. Source raw materials, such as empty containers, in addition to selling.
  6. Determine efficient shipping methods for order fulfillment.
  7. Passionately communicate our brand identity and implement company initiatives.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum five years of B2B industrial sales or distribution sales experience, preferably with industrial-oriented UN packaging.
  2. A bachelor's degree is preferred but will consider candidates with appropriate experience in lieu of a college degree.
  3. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, and effective listening skills.
  4. Strong sales hunter mentality with passion to succeed.
  5. Strong prospecting and account qualification skills.
  6. Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
  7. Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of financial and business plans.
  8. Ability to work in a team environment with senior management as well as plant-level employees.
  9. Must be comfortable in office, factory, and warehouse environments.
  10. Ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot-table experience a plus), and PowerPoint.
  11. Ability to work in a high-stress environment with the ability to problem solve, prioritize, and react quickly.
  12. Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  13. Experience with SalesForce.com or a similar CRM tool.
  14. Ability to travel 15 - 20% of the time.
