Weber Shandwick is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead our Consumer Practice, focusing on renowned consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities:

We are in search of a dynamic, driven, and inquisitive Senior Vice President to oversee our Consumer Practice, specifically within the lifestyle and CPG sectors. You will take charge of high-impact, award-winning integrated campaigns and productions for a leading food client known for its extraordinary offerings. Your role will involve collaborating with prominent celebrity talent, influencers, and high-profile events. You will manage client and inter-agency relationships, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future and success of our Consumer Practice. Your responsibilities will encompass all facets of client relationships and account management, supervising substantial business segments with various work streams and team members.

Additional duties include:
  • Advising on programs and initiatives aligned with client objectives
  • Effectively delegating tasks and providing guidance to team members
  • Engaging in business development, strategic planning, analytics, media relations, and creative concept execution

Qualifications:
  • A passion for CPG food brands and current food trends
  • Ability to transform concepts into actionable plans and presentations
  • Demonstrated experience in developing programs that enhance brand narratives and drive earned media
  • Capability to foster ownership of projects among junior team members
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to inspire and mobilize teams
  • Strong independent and collaborative work ethic
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Financial analysis proficiency
  • Capacity to complete complex projects within defined parameters

Basic Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience in agency or PR/Communications
  • Expertise in Integrated Media Strategy and Media Relations, particularly in the consumer or CPG sector
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business Management, or a related field
