Job Overview:

The primary role of the Server is to efficiently sell and serve food and beverages to patrons while ensuring an exceptional dining experience that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu offerings, including food and beverage selections.
  • After completing training, manage service for multiple tables simultaneously, adhering to our high standards of service.
  • Consistently promote and upsell food and drink items to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Utilize a point-of-sale system to accurately process orders and payments.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle various payment methods and provide accurate change when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the restaurant, including specific side-work duties.
  • Quickly clear and reset tables to prepare for incoming guests.
  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
  • Monitor guest behavior regarding alcohol consumption and communicate any concerns to management.
  • Strive to exceed guest expectations, ensuring complete satisfaction with their dining experience.
  • Adhere to a professional appearance, including a clean uniform and personal grooming standards.
  • Communicate any guest concerns to management promptly.
  • Process takeout orders as needed.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the General Manager, Manager on duty, and Divisional Manager.

Compensation:

The Server role is classified as a Front of House position, participating in a tip-sharing arrangement based on various factors, including team size. Compensation details will be discussed prior to acceptance of this position.

Physical Requirements:

Employees in this role are regularly required to communicate verbally and may need to stand for extended periods. The position involves bending, reaching, carrying, pushing, and lifting items up to 15 pounds. Servers must be able to perform duties on various surfaces.

Special Requirements:

A Florida Food Safety Certification is mandatory within the first month of employment.
