Position Overview:
The Sanitation Specialist is responsible for executing essential cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold the cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in designated spaces as instructed by management, adhering to the company's eco-friendly initiatives.
  • Change bedding and prepare sleeping areas.
  • Dust and sanitize all furnishings, including picture frames, mirrors, windows, baseboards, and thresholds.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary, ensuring common areas are free of litter.
  • Thoroughly clean and vacuum under beds, desks, and other furniture.
  • Restock all necessary items in rooms, such as toiletries, hangers, and stationery.
  • Ensure all bathroom fixtures are clean and free from mold, mildew, and dust.
  • Sweep and mop all restroom floors to maintain hygiene.
  • Dust light fixtures and other surfaces as needed.
  • Perform laundry tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Report any maintenance or quality control issues to the Supervisor promptly.
  • Stay vigilant about safety protocols and report any concerns to management.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sanitation practices and safety precautions.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a proactive approach to assisting guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to identify issues and communicate them effectively to management.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent movement throughout the facility to complete tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs regularly.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
  • Regularly immerses hands in water and works in wet environments.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Consistent interaction with team members in a dynamic setting.
  • Physical presence at the job site is essential for performing duties.
Equipment Utilized:
  • Cleaning carts and industrial laundry equipment.
  • Various cleaning supplies and tools.
