Opportunity Overview:

  • Compensation: $42/hour
  • Location: Carlsbad, NM
  • Assignment Duration: 12 months+
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday / 50 hours+

Qualifications Required:

  • Relevant certifications or equivalent professional experience in the discipline
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate field conditions and suggest remediation steps effectively
  • Team-oriented; demonstrates effective collaboration with colleagues and a willingness to support others
  • Capability to adjust to tight deadlines, substantial workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance tasks
  • Estimate workload to set completion timelines
  • Assist mechanical engineers in planning and testing mechanical components, equipment, and machinery, including engines, instruments, controls, robots, and other machinery
  • Help in preparing proposals and cost assessments
  • Actively engage in utilizing all safety tools on the job
  • Review job documentation
  • Identify safety concerns related to tasks and ensure their resolution before proceeding
  • Execute work as scheduled
  • Document technical history as required by the workgroup (Global Reliability Tool (GRT), data sheets, etc.)
  • Provide suggestions for job pack enhancements to Execution FLS
  • Request necessary permits and inform the Supervisor if a permit cannot be issued promptly
