Position Overview:
As an On-Site Equipment Technician, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, playing a vital role in the effective management and installation of their machinery and services.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic work environment that allows for hands-on engagement in outdoor settings.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely transporting, loading, unloading, and setting up rental equipment (including Pumps, Power & Temperature Control units).
2. Utilizing your mechanical skills to conduct minor maintenance tasks, such as lubricating components and replacing gaskets and valves.
3. Delivering exceptional customer service and providing tailored solutions to client needs.
4. Advancing your professional skills through company-sponsored training programs, with opportunities for salary increases as you enhance your expertise.
5. Planning and executing project plans in collaboration with team members.
6. Preparing the yard by ensuring all rental equipment and necessary materials are ready for dispatch.
7. Effectively communicating on behalf of Herc Rentals with customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
8. Maintaining tools and supplies essential for successful project completion.
9. Documenting project details through daily notes, labor logs, progress reports, change orders, and other required documentation as per protocol.

Additional Duties:
Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and yard, ensuring rental equipment is ready when not engaged in a project.
Supporting delivery and pick-up operations, as well as general business activities when not assigned to a project.
Providing assistance to shop mechanics involved in equipment repairs or maintenance during downtime.
Completing other tasks as assigned by management.
Participating in all required training and manufacturer-led sessions.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience utilizing mechanical and technical skills.
- Basic knowledge of equipment and troubleshooting, particularly with pumps, generators, power distribution, and temperature control systems.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and consistently carry 5 pounds.
- Valid driver's license with the capability to operate company vehicles; a CDL is advantageous.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

Compensation:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour.
