Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Precision Mechanical Technician to join our team at Precision NDT LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Attend and participate in daily safety meetings, pre-lift meetings, and other safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in the use of everyday tools, including pipe wrenches, crescent wrenches, ratchets, sockets, and threading machines.
  • Documentation and Communication: Read and interpret isometric drawings and structural prints, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and direction to apprentice technicians, and assist with training and development programs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Previous industry experience preferred, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and safety protocols.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Demands
  • Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and work on feet for prolonged periods.
  • Physical Health: Must be able to pass a basic physical examination and a Pulmonary Fit Test for respirator wear.
