Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:

  • Provide insights to upper management regarding plant efficiency and potential system enhancements.
  • Oversee stock management and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Lead accounts receivable initiatives, focusing on collection strategies and monitoring AR activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations as required by governing bodies and company standards.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance, safety documentation, and DOT regulations with fleet management.
  • Organize and assign tasks to drivers and service personnel.
  • Assist with fuel dispensing, delivery operations, and technician duties as necessary.
  • Implement safety programs in collaboration with the Safety Director.

Team Management:

  • Support recruitment and hiring processes, and oversee employee onboarding and training.
  • Manage team tasks, conduct staff meetings, and develop operational reports as required.
  • Create and oversee training schedules for field personnel.
  • Ensure compliance of office staff with company policies, including financial management and record-keeping.
  • Promote a collaborative and ethical workplace, adhering to all organizational policies.

Client Relations:

  • Address customer complaints by identifying issues, selecting appropriate solutions, and ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Aim for positive customer feedback and maintain timely, professional communication.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and effective problem-solving.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and guiding a team.
  • Capability to obtain necessary certifications to enhance plant operations.
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to handle sensitive inquiries.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Certifications:
  • Associate's degree or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of two years in a management role, especially in fields like plumbing or mechanics; or a combination of education and experience that equips the individual with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • CDL-A with hazmat and tanker endorsements (preferred).
Physical and Behavioral Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, operate a computer, and occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Regularly lift and manage supplies and equipment weighing between 20-80 pounds.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening and background checks.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, fumes, gases, and airborne particles in outdoor settings.
