Semiconductor Wet Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineering Team Lead to join our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and executing process development efforts, improving product yield, and developing new processes and device capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute process development efforts to improve product yield and develop new processes and device capabilities.
- Assist in process sustainment and troubleshoot issues related to semiconductor processing techniques.
- Develop and implement statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate technical projects and ensure timely completion.
- Characterize, understand, and improve semiconductor device performance and reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of prior work experience, or a PhD and a minimum of 3 years of prior work experience.
- Experience in semiconductor processing techniques such as photo lithography, dry etching, wet etching, plating, metals evaporation, and optical or scanning electron microscope inspections.
- Experience with statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods, such as Six Sigma.
- Experience with data analysis software packages, such as MATLAB, Python, SQL, and JMP.
- Ability to work well in small, cross-functional teams and manage priorities effectively.
- Master's or PhD in STEM.
- Experience in troubleshooting a diverse set of fabrication equipment and establishing equipment qualification and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Experience with characterizing, understanding, and improving semiconductor device performance and reliability.
