About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compound Semiconductor Process Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers in Andover, MA. As a key member of our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department, you will be responsible for leading and executing process development efforts, improving product yield, and developing new processes and device capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process development plans to improve product yield and reduce costs
  • Lead and execute process development efforts, including the development of new processes and device capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flows, recipes, and control plans
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production teams to ensure smooth process execution
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve product quality
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior work experience, or Master's degree in STEM and 3 years of prior work experience, or PhD in STEM
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques, including photo lithography, dry etching, metals evaporation, and optical or scanning electron microscope inspections
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD in STEM
  • Experience with statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods
  • Experience with data analysis software packages, such as MATLAB, Python, SQL, and JMP
  • Collaborative and leadership skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
