Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineering Team Lead to join our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and executing process development efforts, improving product yield, and developing new processes and device capabilities in our III-V semiconductor wafer foundry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute process development efforts to improve product yield and develop new processes and device capabilities.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials.
  • Conduct process audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our processes remain competitive.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of prior work experience, or a PhD and a minimum of 3 years of prior work experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques such as photo lithography, dry etching, wet etching, plating, metals evaporation, and optical or scanning electron microscope inspections.
  • Experience with statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Experience with data analysis software packages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, SQL, JMP).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD in STEM.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques in wet etch, wet cleans, and plating process areas.
  • Experience troubleshooting a diverse set of fabrication equipment and establishing equipment qualification and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Experience with characterizing, understanding, and improving semiconductor device performance and reliability.
