Semiconductor Process Engineer

Position Overview:
At Raytheon Technologies, we are committed to safeguarding our nation and allies through innovative engineering solutions. We are currently seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer to join our dedicated team.
Role Type:
This position is onsite and requires a commitment to working the 3rd shift.
Job Responsibilities:
The Semiconductor Process Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various semiconductor processing equipment within a clean room environment. The role includes:
1. Working with diverse Plasma Etch tools and other semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
2. Utilizing expertise in vacuum, exhaust, electrical, electro-mechanical, RF/microwave, and chemical systems.
3. Collaborating with the work center lead to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.
4. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
5. Implementing corrective actions for hardware and software issues to maintain equipment availability.
6. Supporting emergency response teams and performing hands-on maintenance tasks.
7. Analyzing tool data and documenting work processes effectively.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- U.S. citizenship, as access to certain information is restricted.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and the ability to implement control plans.
- Experience with predictive maintenance and FDC software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
