About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Process Development Engineer to join our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department at Raytheon. This role involves working on gallium nitride-based devices and focal plane array fabrication, requiring expertise in microelectronics processing techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process wafers to create advanced semiconductor devices in a cleanroom environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new processes and products.
- Lead process development efforts and continuous improvement activities.
- Manage projects and processes within the department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience in semiconductor processing techniques such as lithography, etching, and inspection.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in a STEM field.
- Experience with lean manufacturing methods and data analysis software.
- Strong background in semiconductor device physics and performance analysis.
- Ability to lead technical projects and teams effectively.
