Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Process Engineer Lead to join our III-V process development team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department, you will be responsible for leading and executing process development efforts, improving product yield, and developing new processes and device capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute process development efforts, including developing proof of concept demonstrations of novel semiconductor processes
  • Improve product yield and develop new processes and device capabilities
  • Assist in process sustainment and troubleshoot diverse sets of fabrication equipment
  • Establish equipment qualification and preventative maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior work experience
  • Advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of prior work experience, or a PhD and a minimum of 3 years of prior work experience
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques, including photo lithography, dry etching, wet etching, plating, metals evaporation, and optical or scanning electron microscope inspections
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD in STEM
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques in wet etch, wet cleans, and plating process areas
  • Experience working in a controlled, cleanroom environment
  • Experience troubleshooting fabrication equipment and establishing equipment qualification and preventative maintenance procedures
  • Experience with statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods
