Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Semiconductor Equipment Engineer for the 3rd shift (9pm-6:30am) to support our Dry Etch Work Centers. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a diverse range of semiconductor processing equipment within a cleanroom setting. Experience with various Plasma Etch tools is essential, along with familiarity with vacuum, exhaust, electrical, electro-mechanical, RF/microwave, and chemical systems commonly utilized in semiconductor operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on SPC controls of critical manufacturing inputs to enhance system uptime.
  • Ensure optimal equipment functionality by addressing hardware and software-related issues promptly.
  • Contribute to the emergency response team (ERT) as needed.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Interpret and comprehend equipment manuals and schematics effectively.
  • Document all work performed and provide comprehensive pass-down reports.
  • Analyze tool data to inform maintenance strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  • A university degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to access restrictions on program-related information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
  • Fundamental knowledge of SPC controls and experience implementing control plans for both existing and new equipment.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls utilizing FDC software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
