Position Summary

We are in search of a Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to oversee both existing and new partnerships with health plans and service providers, aimed at driving optimal performance and revenue growth. This role will focus on strategic, growth-oriented partnerships and will require strong relationship management skills, as well as an understanding of partner needs across sales, marketing, and product functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with Garner's objectives to maximize pipeline and revenue through strategic partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations while ensuring a deep understanding of Garner's core offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to create a data-driven framework for assessing the success of national partnerships, including metrics for contracting targets and relationship health.
  • Oversee the renewal of existing agreements and the expansion of services, ensuring accountability for performance outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Account Management teams to manage partner expectations and enhance operational efficiencies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Over 10 years of experience managing partnerships with health plans or healthcare service providers, particularly in payer relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of the employer health insurance sector, including key players and funding models.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing P&L with a focus on driving growth.
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to engage in hands-on work to support company objectives.
  • Experience in a dynamic startup environment.
  • A strong commitment to improving the U.S. healthcare system.
