Patient Access Coordinator

About the Role:
The Patient Access Representative is a vital member of our healthcare team, serving as the first point of contact for patients and families. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, compassion, and attention to detail to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient registration, scheduling, and benefit verification
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient data is maintained
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff
- Work collaboratively with insurance carriers, Medicare, and other regulatory agencies
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of clerical experience and customer service experience preferred
- High School diploma required; some college helpful
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under stress
- Knowledgeable and experienced with various computer systems
