The Patient Access Representative is a critical member of our healthcare team, serving as the first point of contact for patients and families. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, compassion, and attention to detail to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient registration, scheduling, and benefit verification
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient data and records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff
  • Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of clerical experience preferred
  • Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans a plus
  • High School diploma required; some college education helpful
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
