Patient Access Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Patient Access Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating patient access to care through effective communication and registration processes. This position is located in a call center setting, where the individual will be responsible for scheduling, recording patient communications, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient access to care through registration and scheduling processes
- Record and document patient communications
- Provide excellent communication and customer service skills
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Work effectively in a fast-paced call center environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with the public
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- Computer and typing skills
- Medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Physical Guidelines:
- Ability to move, traverse, and position self for up to eight hours per day
- Motor coordination and complete manual dexterity
- Articulate speech and visual acuity
- Ability to hear
