Job Summary

Oregon Imaging Centers is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our scheduling team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, procedures, and verifying electronic and faxed orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and procedures for patients
  • Verify electronic and faxed orders for accuracy
  • Work closely with Pre-Authorization and Health Records departments to verify insurance and patient information
  • Educate patients on the exam process and provide directions to our locations
  • Ensure a positive, effective, and efficient scheduling experience for patients
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of previous experience in a medical office or call center environment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • Strong computer and typing skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Previous medical scheduling experience (preferably in radiology)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Formal Anatomy Class is helpful
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred
