Job Overview

The **Business Systems Analyst** at Plat.AI plays a pivotal role in aligning organizational needs with technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting product development efforts focused on the Company's loan origination system (LOS), aimed at streamlining the loan processing lifecycle from application to funding.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to collect project requirements and prepare documentation for technical integrations with partners.
  • Analyzing and documenting business workflows and system specifications.
  • Creating comprehensive business requirements documents that include functional specifications.
  • Acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the IT department to ensure clarity on project objectives and requirements.
  • Identifying business challenges and researching effective technological solutions.
  • Collaborating with system developers and architects to devise design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Overseeing the integration of the LOS with external data sources, including verification services and credit bureaus.
  • Monitoring project progress and communicating updates to stakeholders, along with providing regular status reports to senior management.
  • Managing project planning, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assisting with backlog management and sprint planning activities.
  • Defining timelines, scope, and risk management strategies while identifying and addressing project risks and issues.
  • Ensuring quality assurance and conducting User Acceptance Testing, including creating and facilitating tests to verify system specifications and resolving any issues during the testing phase.
  • Supporting the implementation of new systems and enhancements.
  • Developing training materials and maintenance documentation to enable end-users to effectively utilize new systems.
  • Providing recommendations for ongoing improvements to systems and processes to enhance business efficiency.
Tools and Technologies

The role requires proficiency in various tools and technologies, including:

  • Confluence, Jira, and ClickUp for project management and documentation.
  • PostMan for API testing and development.
  • Collaboration tools such as Google Drive, Meet, Zoom, Slack, and Click-up.
Qualifications

**Education**: A Master's degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required. Foreign equivalent degrees are accepted.

**Experience**: A minimum of 3 years in a related role involving systems analysis, utilizing project management and collaboration tools, with at least 1 year overseeing IT systems projects. All experience may be gained concurrently.
