We are currently in search of a skilled and proactive Systems Administrator who possesses a robust technical foundation, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for technology. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our clients' IT infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing to various IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues related to cloud services, networks, and systems while overseeing the active cloud, network, and server environments.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on hardware and enforce security protocols to avert system disruptions or breaches.
  • Implement sensitive data backup and recovery processes, and design, deploy, and support technologies related to Microsoft, Apple, and Linux.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and support of remote access solutions, including VPNs, remote desktop services, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all technical procedures and ticketing records.

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in system administration or a closely related discipline. A solid understanding of cloud collaboration platforms, particularly Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, is essential. Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, or similar is required. Familiarity with UTM appliances and their security features in a small business context, including knowledge of SonicWall, Fortinet, or Meraki, is also necessary. Experience with scripting, automation, orchestration, and configuration management tools is crucial. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are mandatory.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually
