Job Overview

The **Technical Business Analyst** at Plat.AI plays a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with technological advancements within the organization.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting product development efforts, particularly focusing on the Company’s loan origination system (LOS), which automates the entire loan processing lifecycle from application to funding.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to collect project requirements and documentation necessary for technical integrations with partners.
  • Conducting thorough analysis and documentation of business workflows and system specifications.
  • Creating comprehensive business requirements documents that outline functional specifications.
  • Acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the IT department to ensure clarity in project goals and requirements.
  • Identifying business challenges and researching viable technology solutions.
  • Collaborating with system developers and architects to devise design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Overseeing the integration of the LOS with external data sources, including identification verification, income verification, and credit bureaus.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing updates to partner companies and stakeholders, along with regular project status reports to senior management.
  • Managing project planning, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables in accordance with company best practices while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Assisting with backlog management and sprint planning activities.
  • Defining timelines, scope, change, and risk management, while identifying and addressing project risks and issues.
  • Ensuring quality assurance and facilitating User Acceptance Testing, which includes creating and conducting tests to verify system specifications, facilitating demonstration sessions with clients, and resolving any issues that arise during testing.
  • Supporting the implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Developing training materials and ongoing documentation to enable end-users to effectively utilize new systems.
  • Providing recommendations for continuous improvement of systems and processes to enhance business efficiency.

Utilize tools and technologies such as Confluence, Jira, and ClickUp for project management and documentation, along with PostMan for API testing and development, and collaboration tools like Google Drive, Meet, Zoom, Slack, and Click-up.

This position allows for **100% remote work** within the U.S.

Minimum Education:

A Master’s degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Foreign equivalent degrees are accepted.

Minimum Employment Experience:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role performing systems analysis, utilizing project management, sprint management, and collaboration tools, including at least 1 year overseeing IT systems projects. All experience may be gained concurrently.
