Beacon Hill is seeking a highly motivated Trusts and Estates Assistant to join their team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in Trusts and Estates and be able to assist multiple attorneys in the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys in the Trusts and Estates Department, including typing correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain files, both electronic and physical, and perform tasks such as photocopying, reading and sorting mail, and preparing and updating estate planning binders.
  • Input attorney timesheets, process, proof, and review bills and invoices.
  • Interact with clients, financial advisors, investment advisors, accountants, attorneys, and other staff to schedule and prepare files and documents for meetings.
  • Prepare final estate planning letters, including copies of executed estate planning documents and recommendations for various asset transfers related to trust funding strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
  • Ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity in personal and fiduciary matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, staff, and clients.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Document Management Systems and Billing Software.
